10K Road Race, Duathlon & 3K Fun Run

2012 Race and more - 16th September

The Swallowfield 10+3 Committee are delighted to announce that we'll be running the road race again in 2012. Entries are open on the Runners World at Early Bird prices held from last year!

Duathlon

To celebrate this Olympic year we are running the first Swallowfield Duathlon. The race will consist of a 5km run around Farley Hill, followed by a 20km cycle across rural West Berkshire and finishing with a flat 5km run. Read more here

Jon Tickle will be back in 2012 to add a celebrity touch to the start and finish. Great to have him back!

This is a sensational measured 10K road race through rural Berkshire countryside. Starting in Swallowfield village the route passes along quiet country roads to Farley Hill and then back along country lanes to Swallowfield Parish Hall. Every competitor completing the course will receive a finishers medal. There will be special awards for the fastest in class.

In addition, there is a 3K fun run on an (almost) completely off road course mainly on grass through the grounds of Swallowfield Park.

All proceeds go to the 1st Swallowfield Scout Group.
