We will email you a week before the event confirming your entry number and provide a link to the Runner’s Booklet.

Please plan to pick up your Runner’s / Duathlon Number and Individual Timing Chip on the day of the race from the Registration Desk in Swallowfield Parish Hall. You will need to attach your individual timing chip to your shoe laces.

Please complete your contact details and medical form on the back of your competitor race number.

If you have entered the Duathlon please go to the Duathlon home page for more information.

Parking

The location of the car parks will be confirmed in your runner’s pack.

Please head for the Parish Hall in Swallowfield and follow the signs (or ask a marshal) from there.

Please don’t park in Swallowfield Street or The Street in Swallowfield as you’ll be running along there later!

Changing Facilities

Changing facilities are provided at Swallowfield Parish Hall.

Bag Storage

A bag store will be provided at Swallowfield Parish Hall. Please don’t leave valuables in them.

Training

Do NOT attempt to run on the day if you are feeling under the weather – you may do yourself more harm than good.

Please read the guidance on www.runnersmedicalresource.com website on how to prepare for an endurance event such as the 10K.

If you are new to running, follow a training plan to prepare yourself for the day. Good advice on training and how to prepare for the event can be found on the Runners World website – www.runnersworld.co.uk

Make sure you have appropriate footwear suitable to running 10K. If in doubt, visit a good running store to seek advice.

Wearing appropriate running kit will help to keep you comfortable, warm and dry if the weather is adverse. Again a good running store can advise.

Minimum ages

Participants in the 10K race and Duathlon must be over 15 years old on the day of the races. Participants in the 3K race must be over nine years old.
